I would totally love to do something on Saturdays; Sundays I have an Umstead thing going on (tho not every weekend) with a buddy of mine... but the more exercise the better, and the more the merrier!

I also really want to get back into swimming.. it's twice as effective (and also not nearly as sweaty) at burning calories due to water's natural resistance.

Tell Bill WTG... that's great that he's met his goal. I have ~40 pounds to go before I hit mine. I would like to be 235 and back in a 38. I'm getting a lot of muscle development, and am up to doing nearly 30 pushups before I tire out.

I think in HS I could do 5 pushup, to compare from a decade ago (but I was also nearly 350 when I graduated, then drop to 218, then came back up).

The cycle ends this year.
I went on disability in Aug 07 and by Jan, I had gained almost 20 lbs! I knew I was going to end up in touble just sitting so much, so I, like some of you in here decided to make some permanent changes. I cut all table salt out for one thing, I've always loved it too much. I am a life timer on WW so I could size up portions pretty good. I started in Jan 08 and by the end of Aug 08, I had dropped 58lbs. I'm very proud of that, but I had done that twice before. The thing I'm most proud of is I haven't gained it back!!! I just passed my second anniversary!!! and I'm still there!!! I want to say to you who are on that road to being "less", It is worth the struggle! I couldn't tell any difference when I looked in the mirror, but my wife & family say they can tell it. You may not see a difference, but your family might! I pray you all get to your goals and stay where you want to be!!! Good luck!!!
