I've been speaking with Cathy the better half of the owners of the Ridge Top about breakfast and accomodations.

As you all are well aware the more promising eatery YESTERDAY was the Everett St. Diner. Cathy said she would get back with me about another place, and she did

Enter the Blue Ridge Grill.
This is the following info I got straight from Cathy:

1.The restaurant has recieved bad reviews online HOWEVER the owner has revamped the restaurant, including new management and staff. This has all occured in lieu of the bad reviews. Cathy has eaten there since the new management and she says the food and service is excellent!

2.The restaurant seats well over 70 people.

this is a major point..
3.the Blue Ridge opens at around 9:00 for breakfast But and this is a BIG BUT....
4.The restaurant wants to and will open the restaurant VIP, especially for our group. And they will open earlier than their normal scheduled business hours to accomodate us. We will have the restaurant all to ourselves.

It is obvious that the Blue Ridge is serious about their new management and new image, for them to go out of their way for us. i'm sure they know that major make or break reviews could be hinged on them serving us like this. I'm sure Cathy told them of the magnitude of our event as well. This is proven because Cathy told me that the owner was very excited about our event and excited on serving us. She even gave Cathy her cell number to forward to me.

So folks considering the large amount of us bugophiles and the hope for all of us to dine together, I think the Blue Ridge might be the place for us. Cathy stressed that the Blue Ridge is under new management and the food, from her own personal experience is very good.

So gang, I'll get more info on sealing the deal on breakfast. Being that we'll have the resturant all to ourselves, this will be another great photo op.

I'm really getting amp'd about all that's coming together here. Am I the only one
