Car: a project jetta in a state of (dis)repair
Default

hmmm, here we go.

THIS is what i carry at ALL times in my car:

craftsman 204pc toolkit. #9-37204.

10mm gearwrench.

17mm gearwrench (old vw days).

17/19/22/24/30/32/36mm impact sockets (depending on the car).

3mm-10mm hex sockets.

t5-t55 torx sockets.

e6-e12 reverse torx.

6mm-12mm triple square sockets.

spark plug sockets.

wire pullers.

repair wires and wire crimpers.

vise-grips. (these are GODSENDS if your throttle cable breaks)

all that fits into the carrying case the 204pc kit came in.

spare parts:

2 qts mobil1 15w50.

serpentine belt.

air filter.

oil filter (yes, i've destroyed one and not wrecked the pan).

2 each of EVERY exterior bulb.

6 each of EVERY amp fuse, mini and atc.

side bonus: with this toolkit i can do pretty much anything with, including YOUR timing belt.
