i was going down the road and my coolant light started flashing then oil pressure light. luckily i didn't drive far but i had coolant hose issues and leaking gasket area's in my engine. oil pressure light is an indicator of engine issues, not coolant.

There's a big difference between the coolant light flashing blue and flashing red.
