Yep, it's official, I hate the front corner turn signals on the Votex bumper.
I think because my car is Platinum Grey, I could maybe pull it off, but the thing is.... I don't want to "Pull it off". I am gonna have the signals shaved. I talked to the body shop, that I will be having the work done at, and they said it wouldn't be any issue. They have done this type of stuff before, and know about the bumper issues of expanding and contracting. I am totally not worried about it anymore. I know what kind of work they do, and I have seen several custom body jobs and paint work that they have done to custom Hotrods. I am sure they can handle my Beetle. I still have no idea of the cost yet, but whatever it is, it will be worth it.
I did like the painted housings but I think, for me I will just bite the bullet and do it ALL the way.
