Anyone else have aftermarket head unit with rear USB pigtail?
How the heck do you mount the thing so it stays put?!
My Kenwood deck came with a separate plastic piece that holds the USB jack on 3 sides and has screw holes so you can panel mount it. I Dremel'd out a rectangular hole in the back of the glove box and screwed the piece down, and all was good for a few weeks. Then one day I was swapping flash drives and the !@?#$ cable pulled through the plastic piece and into the glove box. I shoved it back in and I think it's situated as it should be, but I imagine it'll happen again.
If anyone has dealt with this problem and fixed it permanently, I'd love to hear what you did. Thanks!
