The trouble i always find is when applying the base paint (You get the base and the clear coat) that one tiny drop and it's higher than the original paint. Let it dry and it's still higher. So adding the top Clear Coat to an allready oversized blob is

the first week I got my 08 NB in September 2008, I was driving behind a big truck that didn't have a cover over the GRAVEL in its bed.
a big huge rock flew out and made a dent/scratch in the hood.
I was devastated.
we went to the dealer and bought touch-up paint.
I had my brother use it on the scratch and afterward looked worse than the scratch/dent itself.
now I have an 01 NB with some scratches and I don't dare use touch-up paint.
I used some clear-coat scratch concealer or whatever on small scratches and it worked pretty well.
