I never got a reply like that, but if ever i did, i'd probably say, "last time i checked, i'm a dude- so much for this being a chick car"

Your remarks are on point my good man. This comment can go to both the ones jeering and the ones receiving it.
I'm amazed at how some will try and debase others to increase their self worth. Also you have many who will rib you because you don't drive what they do or you refuse to conform to their likes, stereotypical parameters and such- I guess that's why "subdivisions" by Rush is one of my favorite songs.
On the other hand, you've gotta be cool with the skin you're in and what makes you happy, be it a car or otherwise- even if you have to rock your wife's/GF's car for a minute. Sure the fellas will be the fellas, and will try to rib you, but when it's all said and done, we can't be boxed into what people think we should drive, or a myriad of other stereotypes.
If people can't appreciate you for you and what makes you you, then, they're just not worth occupying your emotions, thoughts, space or time. Life's too short.
