Well since I got a nudge from CJ and also being called out (thanks Joel )on the "orange you glad you took an orange pic" contest thread ( that was said as a term of endearment), I thought i'd do my civic duty and join in on the contest. BTW, if you haven't checked out the thread, do so- it's fun checking the pics out and the fun vibe that's being projected.
Anyhoo, I did a pre-dawn recon today, searching for "the shot"; I know of the location, but i needed to nail it down precisely. I got up at 5:15 this morning to make sure I got the pre-dawn light, which in FL emulates the sunset fairly well. I got up early, but due to me not being totally sure of the spot, missed the photo window, hence another attempt tomorrow.
My missed opportunity wasn't a total loss. i was able to capture a few choice shots today. Enjoy

I'm sure you got your shots either yesterday morning or this morning and I look forward to seeing your submissions. I need to decide on my final 2. I have the final one picked but I'm torn on the other pick.
Plus I took some good ones last night.
