a. it must be a pretty quiet road
b. it was early in the morning therefore no cars

I'm guessing you're finding the highway shot funny, because you're imagining me in the middle of the road trying to take a shot, while looking out for oncoming traffic... well you would be right

And you're right about the early morning traffic. There was traffic, but it's so broken up and sparse that time of the morning, that I was able to pull off the shots

Hi Marcia

Yes, Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman are both big names in NASCAR. I was thinking the same as you too buddy. I know there's some mad-crazy NASCAR die hards out there that really go all out for their favorite driver/race team, but I don't think anyone would go THAT all out- would they??? Anyhoo, i'm guessing that it might have been some auxiliary trailer, pulling some non-essentials or something of the like. At any rate, I did go to StewartHaas racing's FB page and give them some thanks for giving my car some props as we motored along. I'm a Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan myself, but have come to admire Tony. He was what Kyle Busch is today- a horse's rump- Tony has matured a bit, still got an attitude, but his maturity has seasoned it nicely. Anyhoo enough racin' talk. It was a fun morning though

No shots as of yet. I missed my photo window (pre-dawn skies) looking for the location- it was a while since i passed it by. I found the location, took a few prelim shots and I'll be leaving within the hour to take hopefully some good sunset shots. There was some earlier storm clouds around and hopefully they'll be enough around for a nice sunset shot.

I did take some shots of the location yesterday, but in fear of spoiling the shot, i'll leave them off the thread until the deadline.

I'm sure you've got some good shots Joel- looking forward to seeing them
