On a stock NA motor there is not a lot to be gained from a performance open air intake system, on a FI motor like the one you are dealing with, there is a nice gain to be had, Neuspeeds P-flo works very well and fits like a charm.

Running a good full synthetic 5W-30 engine oil is a plus, a good 2.5" turbo-back exhaust and a performance chip will make a reasonable difference.

It really depends on what kind of power gains your customer wants and how much money he/she is willing to spend.

Every car is different but you may see as much as a 40hp-65hp gain from all of the above along with a nice increase in torque.

Stick with the 0w40 or 5w40 FULL SYNTHETIC that Vw Recommends
