M'EFFIN lovebugs!
When I lived in Florida, what I did was leave the hose and sprayer hooked up and laying near the driveway. Everyday I made a ritual of turning on the water and hosing the bugs down. You don't have to get them completely off. Just spraying the water on them seemed to do a good enough job of neutralizing there body acids that eat into the clear coat.

I got tired of that and put a bra on the car when the LB's were at there worse.

as mentioned, once they eat into the clear coat, its game over.
If you want a cheap way out is to go have a 3M clearbra installed. This will cover those minor blemishes and protect to front end in the future.
