I used them in my 2004 Audi TT 1.8T 225 and they ran fine. The car was chipped and I ran one heat range cooler than stock.
Prior to that I ran the NGK Copper ones for 10 bucks a set. To be honest I really didn't see a difference in either performance or gas mileage. I haven't tried them in the 1.8T Beetle yet and probably won't. I got the Beetle REVO Tuned and am running NGK copper plugs in it. Seems to run fine.
