I wish I had another air-cooled. If it counts, I'll post a pic of my very first. A 73 Standard, wasn't the best looking car in the world, but I took her out of a 13year hibernating period and brought her back to life, my first ever VW. She used to be blue, and stock ... I'm looking for a 60's type 1 now.

That's what I originally thought, but I have since found out that the Herbie that spins on it's roof was actually a (now extremely rare) EMPI fiberglass Beetle body. So the jury's still out on how my roof got all messed up.

I don't think Darby's going to be parting with Herbie #1 any time soon.

Here's my other VW. Once everything else in life settles down I'm sending this to fixed so I can drive it around.

Here was the day we towed it from VA to NC:

And backing it into the driveway until the garage is empty:

I know I have posted this in The "other rides" section. But since this a air cooled section here goes......

First on left is a super early 56 ambulance, 68ish Baja, 60 Swivel seat, and a 57 single cab.
