I have a primer grey '70 its a been a great car, i have ran it for almost a year, have spent most of my time working on it during the summer, and learned so much about aircooled motors. Sadly the car is now on stands cause the motor knocks and is in need of a rebuild. But its still my baby. lol

My Yellow '75 is a non-super, yes there were non-supers made that year. Its really my beater, the PO treated it like crap. But with some love and 3-4 months of work and cusing at the PO while i worked on it, it runs drives, and gets me to where i need to be.

Heres a few pics of my bugs ^_^

hi, my mom drove a '72 super beetle for the usps as a substitute rural carrier. she was hit head on by a young boy driving a truck-nearly killed her. she just retired after 23 years as a full-time rural carrier for the usps about 5 years ago. she also owned a '63 beetle. when she came to visit with me after i purchased my NB in April of this year, she hugged the car instead of me

Default Update

Ok, so my 70 finally got back on the road in Janurary, after working out in the SNOW, RAIN, and HAIL! In a buddy's back yard its finally got done. I put new 1600 pistons and cylinders, and did a **** load of adjustments and its been running smooth ever since. Sadly since the pics on top the car has been in 2 accidents , one was totally my fault, the other....well..... Anyways, the front end is a bit mashed, but the last accident just pushed a bunch of plans for my bug forward. Its been lowered in the front end, has small low pro tires on the front, and big tires in back (i wanted bigger, but didn't thing they were going to be that big....oh well.) I have put in the chrome firewall, the running boards, aftermarket wide fenders, removed the padded dash, and many many other things. I might be doing another motor transplant since i picked up a dual port motor with dual carb, extrnal cooler, and other fun stuff, but i dont know the size, so for ****s and grins i might see how much better it is.

As far as the 75 goes i'm putting a new motor in it this weekend, the old one is tired, and we have limped it for about a year. I picked up this other block for about $50 and added on to it. Its just a stock 1600, Nothing really special, but better then the Single port thats in it at the moment. Other then that I haven't really done to much to thats one. I removed the padded dash on that one too, and it actually looks a bit cooler then my 70 lol.

I have a whole album of pictures on myspace at:

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...lbumId=1017575

I would of uploaded them on here, but all the pics exceeded the 1MB each.

Let me know what you think.
