Default Heres my 77 1303 Cabriolet 1914cc

Hi all, heres a couple of shots of my 1977 Karmann Beetle Cab.
The cars a german import to the UK having being bought by the first owner as a Christmas present. Its nearly 30 years old and is loads of fun.I do loads of VW shows and Classic cars shows in the UK and would love one day to do some US shows.

The last one is with our New Beetle

Thanks everyone, the Cab is running all the usual trick bits and pieces, Engle 120 cam, lightned and balanced throughout, chrome-moly pushrods.
The head work alone took over a week. Also running tricked out Twin Webber carbs.External filtration and cooling. Also has a CSP sports exhaust.Gene Berg locking shifter, tacho with shift light. Not been dynoed yet but estimates put it around 100-110bhp.Good fun at the lights as people don't expect it to pull away like it can.
The chin spoiler is by Kamei, not easy to find NOS ones.
The colour is VW Platinium, this was special order in 77.
I still have the original 1600cc engine which will be rebuilt this winter just incase I decide to go back to original.
