VW Heritage
My parents had a Bug when I was born, so I guess it was destiny. Later my dad had a 914 Porsche, and still later he had a 911.... How he loved it!
My first car was a '64 Ghia- beautiful red! I loved that car! Some idiot rear ended me, that was the end of her.... Next was a yellow '68 Ghia- a true lemon. Had to have it plugged in to a battery charger every night....

I too grew up with the air-cooleds Three Bugs, Mom's '60, '66' and '73 and Dad's '62 Corvair Monza Spider (or was it Spyder). Learned to drive a stick on the '60, basic black, no fuel gauge, only the flipper on the front floor board to trip the valve for the last gallon of gas, and the ONLY option a Dad installed factory AM radio and antenna. I loved the Ghia's too, wouldn't mind having one for a toy today. If it was a ragtop of course! MORAV
