Great ad, indeed! Though the fact that the ad is real sure does upset me. Again. But it's completely understandable. Well, almost completely. He is the Stud Bug, after all!

I wish I could buy him, but even if I could afford another car right now I wouldn't use him properly. You know, I'd drive him on the road and all, and we can't have that!

Best of luck getting him to the next great racer, Mike!

Thanks! I did that, actually. At the moment eBay is the largest source of income for RealAutoSport, LLC so I need to do some good there!

Anyone into rally cars in general or Lancer EVO 9RS rally cars in particular should visit www.realautosport.com for the latest I've been up to in the US rally world ...

Thanks for looking everyone! Good luck bidding!

Default 820 views, 15 "watchers" and ...

This is a little like waiting for one of my daughters to be born - but with just less than 4 hours before 'delivery' there are over 1000 'Visits', 16 "Watchers" and - still - zero bids. Too weird ...

Call this a pre-EBay feeler ... Take a look here -

This might be a dumb question but... did you sell him? I haven't been keeping up with all the news, I just heard that he wasn't at STPR this year.

No sale. Posted two Ebay ads, garnered about 2500 views, had about 30 people add the auction to their watch lists and the reserve auction got up to something over $5000 but Kenny wanted more than that so StudBug is headed to his ranch soon and I can't tell you what the future holds for the world's first New Beetle after that.

Bummer. Well if you're thinking of selling him next fall, look me up.

StudBug finally left the Halley abode/RealAutoSport, LLC World HQ a couple months ago even though I haven't owned the car since March 2006. The car is on Cowboy Kenny's ranch west of Stillwater, Oklahoma, so far as I know, and I believe still for sale. PM me if interested in purchasing the world's first New Beetle rally car - the machine responsible for securing TEN individual national stage rally titles in just seven years!

Glad to hear he's still in Oklahoma, but sorry you finally had to part ways with him!
