Unfortunately, it may be true. I've been traveling a lot for work, and we just came back from 2 weeks out west for a family trip.

I am running a two day event, starting this Friday though!!! I've been losing lot's of sleep to get my car ready for a couple of day's of fun.

Well, good news is that the new track is AWESOME!!! If you live within a few hundred miles of this place, it is worth the drive.

Not so good news is that the two day's of driving cost me a new windshield. Rock came up from the guy in front of me and pow, new windshield.

This happened in my last practice session before our timed runs, so I was not able to compete in the actual timed trial itself. :-(

I did get roughly 180 miles of seat time in though, and that was very cool..

My best times caught on video put me in contention for the #2 spot. Tom and I (Tom runs a Ford Focus) were running about identical lap times. The top spot should have gone Mike, who is a multiple class winner that about 1 1/2 seconds faster than our best lap times.

Great couple of day's gang, can't wait to go back.

BTW, check out the video link for my few seconds of fame. One of the local new's papers were interviewing folks on Friday. Mine made the "cut".

Cool video. I'm glad someone is still playing.... and that the men's room is air conditioned.

Brian and I are still playing just about every weekend, getting ready for the prosolo. The car is all set up and ready to go on the 26th and 27th. We're just killing time until then.
We ran a two-day event a couple weeks ago. Saturday we paxed 1st and 3rd and Sunday 1st and 2nd. Last weekend we ran all day in the rain (on brand new rain tires yay!). We had some trouble with the car running too rich, but still did well - 3rd and 7th on pax.





...and still no bugs registered for the prosolo. *sigh*

Pictures to follow, but I was ran at Pocono yesterday. Short story is I had to run the Passat, but took a 1st place in D-Stock.

Beat a few miata's along the way, that's always fun.
