Does anyone know if the 2.5L has someone who is making and selling the engine billet pieces. I have Neuspeed billet for my 1.8T and they really dress up the car. These are expensive but I cannot find anyone. I did order the power steering and windshield reservoir pieces because those will fit. The oil, brake fluid and dip stick are different.

Wut's the difference? Oil fill cap, water reserve cap etc are different now? Try www.forgemotorsport.com

Yes, they are a different size! I would not have posted this, had they been the same size; as I have the stuff for the 1.8T through 2005. Obviously, they changed the oil dip stick, oil cap and brake fluid cap size and I was wondering if anyone knew who was making them. Your reference did not shed any light on my quest to find engine billet for my 2006 1.9L Jetta Diesel or my 2.5L Vert. If you know someone who is making them I would appreciate a reply.

Correct, the coolant tank is a low-profile lid. Oil also slightly different... thanks, VW.

I'm not sure if you can epoxy the billet handle for the dipstick to the current dipstick.

Does the oil fill cap even remotely come close to attachment? The only idea I can come up with is, again, epoxy. But then again, that's not always the best route, either.

The new covers are too large, so you would need to shorten the cavities.

HUH?!

I'm not hypeing anyone, the traditional choices are Forge, Neuspeed or generic ones from JCWhitney. Forge makes the best stuff and I'm CERTAIN they will make pieces that will fit the Mark V VW's,
SO JUST CALL THEM. :smack:

FORGE does not make them and has no current intention of making them because there has not been a lot of folks ask for them. I have the solution. The Neuspeed transmission and window washer fluid billet fit without modification. The radiator cap needs to be changed out with one from the 1.8T and then you can use the Neuspeed billet. The 1.8T radiator cap is $12.80 at the dealership. Do the same for the oil cap, but it is a tight fit but you get to use the oil cap billet. Unresolved is the dip stick. The neuspeed dip stick billet cover will not work and the 1.8 dipstick will not function in the 2.5; forge use to make one that fit or they say fit but it has been discontinued. In summary, you can use the Neuspeed billet, less the dip stick cover on the 2.5L but you will have to buy the oil and radiator caps for the 1.8T from your dealership. They fit perfectly and allow for the Neuspeed billet to fit.

BTW, the Forge billet oil cap cover DOES NOT FIT onto the OEM '03-'05 convertible oil cap.
You could probably use one from an oil cap on an '02 or older year NB, but I used the one from my wife's '03 Jetta Wagon, the OEM cap from my vert fit onto her engine perfectly. :D
