Calling all California NewBees: Is anybody going to Bug-O-Rama in May? It would be great to see a nice little gathering of New Bugs on the paddock.:)

I went last year and it is not realy that exciting.

Bug-O-Rama is one of the longest running VW shows. It is primarily for the air cooled scene, but there is always a contingent of water cooled v dubs, especially golfs, corrados, etc. There just never seems to be that many New Beetles. Of course most people attend to watch the drags, but sometimes there are some interesting vendors.

depends on if I have the money to go because of gas and there large entry fee

Yeah - no kidding. It was $15 if you didn't park on the paddock with all the other cars. I think it was $20 to be on the paddock. It may be more now, but who knows.

to get in and the Diesel to drive from the Bay Area I think I am out!:mad: Dam GAS COMPANIES!!! Diesel just hit $5.09.9/10 by my house!!
