We just received the sad news today from the insurance adjuster; our fun-filled 2003 Turbo S is being totaled!! We're heart broken....
Someone ran a red light on Tuesday and hit our car at 40+ mph on the driver’s side, between the front of the door and the left front panel (see 'After' pic). The car lived up to it's side car crash rating and protected my wife (as she only has a few bruises, cuts and black eye - Thank God!) and my youngest daughter, on the passenger side.
The car only had 44K miles on it. No chips, dings or scratches to speak of. Always garaged. Regularly maintained and pampered. Good looking metallic gray on the outside and black leather interior. All the great amenities that came w/ the car. The signature tail spoiler. And, at least another 80-100K miles of fun left in it. (see 'Before')
We're looking for another one, in similar or better condition, if possible. So if you know of one for sale, or have one that you would be willing to sell if you knew it would go to a good home, we're that home.
Mourning the loss of our Turbo S in Texas.
