Might be there as a spectator this year. Prior 2 years, I was recovering from surgeries and could not attend. Otto is in really bad shape, and I don't have any time to fix him up. I am more than happy to pull up a chair under a tent and chat.

It's a very good chance we'll be there.
I didn't see on the flyer... does it cost different if we don't pre-register? Is it possible to wait until we get there to do so?

Hey Jerry,
If the COVVC decides to host the Volkswagen Club of America's annual convention in 2009, maybe, just maybe we'll cruise back East for the weekend and the show.....

Hey Jerry, if we can rustle up the "crew" then this could definately be one for the books.
Let's see if Aaron, Dave, Jay, Bill, Tom, Johnny, Shay, John K, Don and any of the Pittsburg folks can make it.
Found a KOA campsite that is 15 minutes from the show, and CedarPoint Park is in the area as well. So, family can head over to the park for the day, and I can attend my first Volksfest. :bigthumb:
Been trying to make this one since '01.
Would be cool though Jerry, and I'll eat Aaron's BBQ Pork, not a problem...:D

2 hours away, and no good way to get there from C-bus. King's Island is closer (about 1 1/2 hours) and is a straight shot down I-71... Or you could be one of the millions of people that attends the Ohio State Fair this year (on the north end of downtown C-bus).
I don't think I am going to be able to make Volksfest this year. Although I would love to sell all those toys I mentioned to you previously.
