I'm looking for information on integrating my ipod into my Bettle's audio system. Can someone direct me to some DIY installation info. Thanks,

Thanks for the info... This may be a bit trickier than I expected.

I wish I had documented my install better.
I found the install took some time, but wasn't horrible.
I mounted a blitzsafe converter behindmy head unit, ran a Monster UltraLowprofile charger from the front dash cig lighter, under the lower dash and wired it to the blitsafe and out through the hole where the steering wheel comes out.
Made an acrylic holder for the iPod and stuck it where the vase would go.
Here's a couple of pics of finished project

I wish you had have too!
This ipod business is pretty tricky..
Who is actually running a iPod in their car here?
And where do I get(or is my only option, for that matter) one of these VWCDPIC cables?? (http://home.earthlink.net/~ipod-vw/) (http://k9spud.ajusd.org/vwcdpic3/ipod.php)
What the hell is an iTrip? Thats simply the tuner option isn't it? Do I need one of these converter boxes like on eBay or what?!?!?
Aaarrrghhhhh!!!!!:( :( :(

If you're not going with an aftermarket HU then options are limited (but improving). If you go with an aftermarket that has Aux input it's a snap. Do a search and take your choice.
