Her first service is on Thurs, any advice?

Hi there folks

Buttercup goes in for her 6 month check up on Thursday am.

I have a small list of things I need them to look at:

rubber in doorwell squeeks when passenger door is opened

driver side headlight needs re adjustment

passenger side door speakers make a horrible hissing sound ( but not on all songs) a sound that makes me think they are blown....

cloth thingy on the back of the seatbelt clasp has rubbed off causing the clamp to rub up against the console and leave marks.

- is there anything else you can think of that I should be asking for? All these items have been noted through driving the beetle.

Well if those are the only things you're experiencing then I can't add anything else. :)

I would suggest doing a quick check over the car yourself. Use ALL of the functions available in the car and test that they work as they should... if in doubt query the operation with the dealership.

This is exactly what I have done as well as making a list the whole time....

How about a walk around with the service MANAGER before leaving the car... to prove there is nothing scratched or broken before you leave it...

Paranoia can pay off when havin' relations with a dealership.
