Hello all
I`m wondering if I can add the trunk mounted cd changer to my factory (not monsoon)am/fm cassette deck in my 1999 Beetle GL ?
can you guys point me in the right direction in finding one at a fair price??

Thanks for the info,I found VW is having a sale this month on the changer for 249.99 direct from them.....!! They do however require that they do the installation...i`m still looking for a cheap alternative........And I LOVE MY BUG !:p

You could do that install yourself if i'm not mistaken. Aren't factory changers plug-and-play with factory headunits? The mounting hardware is cheap as well.
99BEETLE....look into this some more perhaps. I know if i get a changer i'll be doing it myself. I have zero experience with car audio. I might be wrong, but i think it's a piece of cake.

hey all well I found a changer for 56.00 without the brackets......Got it today and plugged it in the trunk and whoosh I was jamming to my fav cd`s in no time ! What a deal !
Ya gotta love ebay !
Now I need to ge the bracket and do the mounting asap...
Where do I get those brackets cheap ??????
