Does a nbc with a manual top have more trunk room that the one with a power top? Just wondering if not having the power top stuff back there makes a difference?

I would say no.

Nope. Trunk room is exactly the same. The hydraulic pumps and lines are hidden behind the panels, which both models share. ;)

The 2004-5 GL model had a full manual roof, while the 2003-5 GLS model has the semi-auto electrohydraulic roof. On the 2006+ models, the Package 1 and 2 models have the semi-auto roof.

And yet, somehow I missed the fact you're in Melbourne. :D

Yeah, but when they work (which is 99% of the time), what sights and sounds to behold! I'll post a video clip on my new foto thread in a few weeks...:D

Don't your subtle :D mods void your extended warranty?

Hmm, not that I know of.

I go to a VERY "mod-friendly" dealership!

Got KNEWBUG in Jan 03, in July of 03 the pump for the top was replaced. As for the flaps, haven`t had any problems from them. Had the recall done where the put loctite on the regulator bolts, new PRESS button, and cords for the inside top liner replaced. Every once in a while the drivers side express window forgets how to work correctly. I park the car and restart again and it resets, then works OK again. The current mileage is 20,240.
