I have a tint strip going across my windshield that has been damaged and I need to remove it... I tried peeling it off and its a no go.. stuck like glue :D .
Whats the best way to remove this 8" strip of tint from my windshield?? Anyone have ideas?
use windex and a razorblade. you can't hurt the glass, just start scraping.

Kinda used this idea but I also used a hair dryer to heat up the tint nice and hot... Started peeling and it came off with little residue left over. Then I used some Varsol and a razor blade to scrape whatever was left off the window, then I washed it down with denatured alcohol and then gave it a good polish with some foaming glass cleaner... Good as new! :D
You should of seen the look I got when I walked by with the wifes hairdryer to go into the garage :).. hehehe...
