right direction for a good old beetle forum

can anyone point me in the right direction for 69ish beetles... just bought a kit car off a friend and want to learn how to build it back right. its a 68 detemosa on a super beetle frame with the 1600 engine.

If it's a super beetle chassis, it certainly not a 69. it's got to be a 71 -79. Thesamba.com and shop talk are 2 of the best forums.
