And also a shot of my ride home with sun settingbehind me on the road as well as one of me having a little fun without any cops around. With the slow engine and ups and downs and winding roads i couldn't break 100. Just as i'd get near the gear would switch and i'd be back to square one and the road would change on me. Not enough straightaways on rt80.

I had a good time. I guess the secret is out that i'm kinda quiet and a bit shy and all. :o I got to meet some people i truly like alot. Thanks for inviting me again. Now if i can get out to wash my car i'll have pictures later of Show&Go. :D

Great time seeing everyone yesterday! The ride up was a little hairy (snow and freezing temps + 3-season tires = not so much fun driving on the highway) but the ride home was traffic-free. My first visit to State College after living in PA for 26 years was a resounding success!

I wanna say that it was a real blast meeting alot of people for the first time, and it's great to catch up with people from before (even if the last time i saw you was less than 2 weeks ago :lol:)

I think i'll have to organize the next GTG. Or at least get one started. The meeting mid-way thing is such a better idea than most. Next GTG you have my word....I'm staying over and i'm wearin my Jager bonnet! (i've never seen a Jager bonnet) I'll pack a cooler full of Blue Moons and Black&Tans and maybe some Sam Adams White Ale and a bottle of the good Dr. Jager who makes everything better. I'd offer tequila, but the tequila i drink i couldn't afford to share. Plain Cuervo does not touch these lips.

So yeah, i was totally torn with what to do. I seriously almost turned around, but i made my plans and i always stick to my plans.

Only next time...can someone drive with me?? My body aches from all that driving. Why didn't i use cruise control??

A few special mentions off the top of my head:

Amy: You have always been my favorite org buddy and i wish this was any other weekend so i could've hung out. Promise me one of us will visit the other and do some hanging. We're too nearby not to.

John K.: Yer an animal man. It's damn refreshing to see someone as enthuiastic as you. Thank you for the kind words about my ride, it makes up for my disappointment at S&G.

Connie: I never thought i would meet another Beetle lady with energy comparable to Amy. I can't think who you remind me of though. You have a bit of my mom (the good part) and a few other people, but i can't pin down who. And i checked this morning and no sign of any cooties.

Rick: Your wife is lovely and you are genuinely a nice guy. Again, you remind me of someone, but i'm not sure who. I think it's one of my ex's Uncle Ron except you were sober. Just remember, i'm usually a bartender, not a waiter.

Toad/DaCheat: Since you two are kind of a pair in my org eyes i will stick ya together. Yer outrageous both of you! I think you had two cars completely bare of all seating in under 5 minutes. I love you guys. Justin, make sure Jenna has a good home to go to where she/it will be cared for properly. Jose, my picture of your interior looks lame. I like the look in the flesh alot better and i think i know who i'll be PMing when i do my speakers.

SukhoiDave: I've told you before, but yer bug is one of my all-time favorites. I just flat out love it and to finally see it up close. It's so much better than the photos.

Mr. friend who's name i don't know who brought his son who's name i don't know: It was a pleasure talking to you. Not sure if you're on here (i assume you are), but it was nice to meet you and i love that yellow!

Pete: I really wanted to BS with you more. Chat with you all damn week long, but finally in person and i just clam up and than miss ya as you left. How'd you keep the car clean?! It looked picture perfect on a bad weather day. The Caractere valance looks great. I'd never seen one up close before.

Everyone i missed, if we spoke, it was a pleasure to meet you. If we didn't get a chance, i will get you next time. I really liked going out there even for those couple hours. I'd do it again for sure. How did it cost me two tanks of gas though?! Was it all those hills and mountains?? I didn't use a whole tank driving to Massachusetts, did i?? Oh nevermind i remember now.

After Me, Connie, Rick and Kay left the hotel on sunday Connie and I went to get some gas and then back to Champs for some t-shirts. I had told Connie I was going to stop at that 1st gas station I saw. Well, I didnt and I think there was a reason for that. When I finally stopped at one I pulled around the back of this little rinky dink gas station because that was where the pumps were and these were just sitting there.
They looked so lonely I wanted to take em home and take care of them!
