April showers bring MayFlowers! (I don't know what rain in April has to do with pilgrims, but........)
Once again, thanks to everyone who participated in last months assignment! Great turnout! :wave3:
Now get out there and lets see some flowers! :goodjob:
I'll post mine later tonight. I had to cook the wife dinner, so I couldn't shoot them at the moment! :D

I am so mad that I didn't do the water one. But I will try to join you guys here, I am not nearly as good as all of you... but I have been "lurking" on the photography thread and I think its time to add a few of my pictures.
These tulips were at the Bellagio lobby in Las Vegas:

Now, is that PURE Black and White, or just put through a Paint Shop?
Either way, it looks great!
Here is one, taken with my Canon Rebel 35mm Camera, Kodak 400 speed film, Black and White, of course.
Lens was a straight 50mm, nothing fancy.

Hello Justin, Yeah been messing around just no time. Now Iam trying to learn how to make them smaller.
They look good on my screen. What program are you using to resize? Maybe I can help. :D
(Did you hear that I destroyed one of my cameras on Friday? Ripped the lens and ring right off the body. Don't know if it's repairable yet.)

Try this to resize: When you download the photo's to your designated folder on the computer, use Windows Explorer (right click Start Button and choose Explore) to go to the folder. Right click on the image and choose "Resize Pictures." You can choose several sizes: 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, or 240x320. (Of course, if you pics are shot vertically, the numbers will be reversed)
That should make things much more simple! :wave3:

It was raining this early AM, so I went out to my drive way, and took these shots in the rain. Nothing fancy here with the color ones; just a re-size.
With the Pure Black and White ones, I just fiddled with the contrast and brightness, (since Justin suggested that I do that)

As some of you know, I moved over to Eastern Washington, and I could not go home for Mothers Day, so I had my Dad buy my Mom some Rose bushes. Here is a picture that she sent me. She is using the rose's to start her memory garden for Aunt Carol..

You go MS PAINT and put a black frame around it...you put a black frame around the picture, and then fill it in with what ever color you want; I used black here.
