I live in Ontario, so I don't know what's happening on the West Coast as far as G2Gs go. I just wanted to send you some pre-welcomes. Enjoy your visit in our beautiful country. Glad you could drop by Next time come and visit Toronto

Hello folks,

we went to Ottawa and Toronto last month and all waht I can say is WOW - we love your country. People are so nice and friendly - the scene is excellent and you guys keep an eye on the enviroment. Congrats !!!
This was our first trip to CDN and believe me this won't be the last one.
Maybe I have the opportunity to stay in Toronto again for a couple of days (depends on my boss).

Have a nice week.

There's some beautiful country to be seen up here, but you'd be missing out a bit to just congregate in Toronto, Calgary, Montreal or Vancouver (for example.)

If you are into fine dining (and the wine that often goes with it, especially) I recommend visits to the Niagara Region (Niagara-on-the-lake, Vineland, Beamsville to mention a couple hot spots for wine) and also the Okanagan Valley area of British Columbia. Great food, good wine and lots of friendly folks as always.

If you're in for a bit of cool temperatures (and snow and ice) come up for the icewine festival in January (Niagara Region - http://www.niagaraicewinefestival.com/) or the Spring wine festivals in April-May in the Okanagan Valley (http://www.thewinefestivals.com/)

Can you tell I'm into wine?

Lots of other stuff to do of course. Toronto hosts awesome food and drink festivals - now is the time for many of the wine festivals and gourmet food shows. Summer sees the Taste of the Danforth in Toronto (TO, pronounced as separate letters tee ohh for short) (http://www.toronto.com/tasteofthedanforth) as one of the highlights... Lots of theatre, sporting events and really fantastic restaurants in TO as well.

Too many more events to list but pick a time and do a quick web search and you'll definitely find something interesting other than just driving for the scenery.

Of course there's the annual June Jitter Bug car show in Niagara Falls as well. Come join us, won't you? John's Bug Shop usually has all the details closer to the event date (http://www.johnsbugshop.com/CONTENTS.htm)

Sorry to hijack the thread...

Do you really have an RSi? If you ever come back to Toronto I would love to look at the wickedness that it is
