meetup in GTA
Aloha fellow Buggers from Ontario and the rest of the world. I was wandering, if any of you beetle lovers would like to meet for a coffe, chat and show off ( subject" New Beetle " and then all the other not so important things )
 ? There is a nice brand new, big, and free parking at the corner of Bloor and The West Mall ( Etobicoke ) with Timothy coffe shop right next door. Sunday 19th August at 11 AM. How's that sound?

If I can squeeze it in between 2 nightshifts, I would REALLY
 to come. However, I can't promise because of the aforementioned night shifts

Sorry. I won't be able to attend, I'll be away this weekend. Make it for several weekends from now and keep posting about it, hopefully more will read the posts and be able to attend... I know I would! Some members don't read the forums regularly, getting up a GTG only a week in advance won't work out that well. Last winter we talked about one for about 2 weeks and still only two of us showed up.

That sucks
 Let's do it before winter comes I will set up a new date and hope some of you can work it out. Friday, 24th August 7PM, corner of Bloor West and The West Mall, Etobicoke, parking at the plaza. BYOB ( Bring Your Own Beetle ) I will be there this saturday at 6PM sipping coffee and hoping to see some more beetles.

Bee day in GTA
Well that is a great idea. The thing is, I am not trying to organize Beetle Show or fest or anything like that ( well.. not yet )
 This is a symple meet up where we show up for a half an hour, have a good time with our fellow beetlers and sip a coffee. Since I am not familiar with any other weekly meetup for beetle owners and lovers in GTA, I would like to make every Monday, officialy, "Bee day in GTA" . Let's start at 7 PM at the corner of Bloor West and The West Mall, not becouse I live down the street but becouse I can't remmember any other big and not so busy parking. So don't hassle. If you have a 60 minutes extra on monday evening, then go out and ride your beetle. I will be there every monday

Again, I'll be away this entire next week. I like the idea of the gtg after the long weekend. I'm not sure how a weekly meet will work out but am willing to give it a go once I am back. Try not to get discouraged if we only see two of us drinking coffee.
Keep posting, maybe its time we start 'tagging' more NBeetles around town to up our members/numbers.

i like this idea... maybe not every monday, but perhaps maybe the 1st monday of each month or soemthing like that!!!
address of the location? i will try and be there that first monday in september for sure! I just have to much "camp" stuff going on at work right now!

well, it is a nice parking lot, but...... not when you are alone there.
Ok folks, next one is a first monday of the month ( September on this 2007 ). 7PM, same place. Hope to see ya all there shinny and happy.
