Default MK4 GLI + TT 225 Brakes for sale

Hi fellow Canucks,

I just wanted to offer these up first to my Beetle brethren before posting them on the 'tex.

1) GLI front brakes (calipers + carriers)
- They need a rebuild: I had them on the car for 2 weeks and took em off again cuz the pistons were sticking and chewing my pads up (not to mention the car wouldn't stop)

2) TT 225 front brakes (calipers + carriers)
- Same as above mechanically, but they're silver and match your oem rears (factory zinc coating)
- They were on the car for a few years before I bought it
- Still work awesome: only took em off cuz my rear GLI brakes are red and I wanted to match up the set with a set of authentic GLI fronts

These in combination with GLI or TT rotors/pads makes a big difference in stopping power. I have driven bugs with stock brakes and they fade after a few hard stops + take more effort to haul you down

I'm looking for $250 for the TT's and $150 for the GLI's

Ok, I had some free time this weekend so I spent a couple of hours and cleaned up the brakes so you don't have to (with some Simple Green and a toothbrush). With a more abrasive brush or cleaning compound the TT brakes would clean up even more.
