Arrow new beetle owner

i just bought my first beetle and i am wondering if anyone has any advice for me? it is a 1999 gls with 100,000 kms on it...but seems to not have seat warmers. i am picking it up from the seller tomorrow, so i haven't really gotten to know it perfectly yet. it is my very first car, actually. so anything that anyone can share is appreciated.

Most of beetle owners here will agree with me if I say that beetle have chosen you.
You can swap heated seats in from other beetles if you have el. connections ( I think you do have them - poke your head under and check ). GLS means it's 2.0 liters gas engine, most likely AEG type.... standard?
You might be dye timing belt and water pump if not done. Avoid dealerships for repairs and find realible independant mechanic ( sory vw ).
Welcome to the org! ....and snap a few pics.

GLS is the trim level, not the type of engine. Hopefully the OP knows if it's a gasser or a diesel.
