Another hot one today. Glad my A/C works again
![]() I actually missed a shot with 40.5 deg C on the readout by a couple of minutes (as I was leaving the downtown core). As you all know that was before humidity gets factored in...yuck!

It's funny, Fahrenheit makes more sense to me even though I was taught the Metric system in school. Thanks Dad ![]() |

Because my NB is my first car of foreign engineering, I keep my temp in Celsius. I think it's neat, personally.
Well, that and I have no problem reading it, being from Berlin. :P

It's been so hot here, it's not a comfortable heat to be in.
At least work, home and Versa have A/C. Otherwise, it would be unbearable.

Typical Canadians complaining about the heat and humidity...Lol.... Try and remember this in Feburary when it's minus 40... I'll take the heat while i can enjoy it as soon enough it will be cold again....

I went to California a few weeks ago and it was cold there. We had to wear sweaters I was glad to be back here with the heat. I don't mind it when I can just sit in the backyard by the pool. I feel sorry for those people who have to work outside. That is too much heat to handle. |

Yes we get heat ... It's the humidity that really kills us. Yesterday and today we had beautiful weather. Warm with a breeze and very little humidity. It was nice enough to just open up the windows on the car. |

I'm very proud to say that I haven't turned the A/C on in my Beetle for over a week! I can definitely see the difference in my fuel consumption. At home, however, I'm a wimp so on the A/C goes!

I prefer to roll with the windows down myself: Once you do a turbo upgrade the sound of spoolin up is addictive. Fuel economy most definitely is affected, I agree. I probably get 75 km less per tank with the A/C cranking.
