Default Road trip to Winnipeg, Labor Day weekend!!!!!

Well, I don't know if anyone will be able to meet up with me, but figured I'd throw it out there. I've decided to take a 2-lane highway from Tulsa to its end just south of Winnipeg in a couple of weeks. I'll leave here Thu Aug 28 and most likely get to Manitoba on Fri the 29. I think I'll be heading back to the land of miles on Sunday morning.

I don't even know if there's an orger in the Manitoba area. Also, any stuff I need to try to see while I'm up there? The plan is to camp in one of the National Parks up there, but I don't know what all is there.

Yeah, I'm kind of winging it. Am I a fool? Some might say.

I hope to get to meet someone!

Thank you! Based on my previous evidence, I guess you'll get to see all the pics in about 2 months!

I guess I didn't mention, in case anyone's along the way, that I'll be taking US-75 all the way up there, until it turns into Canadian-75, or whatever they call federal highways up there.

I can't wait to use the kilometers section on my Head-Up-Display!

If only I was closer, too! I think it's going to be like 1000 miles and then maybe 100-200 kilometers each way! Yikes!

Well, I guess this'll be my last post until I get home Mon night or Tuesday! I should have many photos to display one of these days!

Planned out the route, looks like about 2400 miles (and 250 kilometers) this weekend. I'll be half way to my next oil change!

Catch you all on the flip side!

I am back, but haven't had time for the .org until now! Yikes! Been a busy week, I guess.

My 18 hours in Manitoba were fun, even those spent sleeping. I think I heard an accent from the bugs upon waking! Chirp chirp, eh?

More of the story to come!

I drove a little bit of the city but most of my time was spent at the campgrounds. I think I started a photo thread of the trip?
