Default Help with adding Bass

OK, I have read just about all the threads that I could find. I have a 2002 Turbo_s and I have found the Monsoon amp in the rear. What I would like to do is tap into the wires and use them as a source for the high to low outs for a amp.

The question is: Does anyone know what wires that I would need to tap into, I just need 2 channels??????

use the brown/green wire for the negative lead and the red/green wire for the positive lead the #8 grey wire on the cd connector can be used as the turn on lead

Is this recommended? I dont know if mine has the amp in the same spot but it would be handy to take the audio signal from there. Is there any way to obtain power for an amp without running a cable to the battery?

yeah i found a spot that works and it's already inside the cabin, if you look at the top of your battery you'll notice a couple thick power wires on it. then if you look under your dash, after you remove that plastic thing on the left side of the car, you'll notice those same wires are bolted to the bottom of the relay area, should be right behind the diagnostics port, you can use that spot right there, it's just like coming off the battery since there's nothing going into those wires before then. I did it and haven't had a problem so far, and it's nice b/c that puts the fuse on the inside of the car for you. I would suggest hooking it to the thickest red wire you can, especially if you're running a big amp.
