Treble/Bass Settings
I just got my NB and have been messing around with my radio, but I can't seem to find the right balance. I was just wondering what everyone has their Treble/Bass/Mid settings on. What settings make it sound the best?

it really depends on what music your listen to. But I genreally like to have the treble a little higher than he bass, and the mid a little lower than the bass.
If your really nitpicky about setting it and fortetting it, puti n your favorite cd, or on your favorite station, and set it so that sounds really good. Cuz everything is recorded differently, so everything will sound better with a little adjustment of thier own. If you think having bass/mid/treble in the radio is kinda cool, you have no clue how much more finicky you can be with a real external eq. It seems i'm always messing with that thing. hehe.

how did you go about installing an external eq??? is that on the stock radio???? want to hear more!

look at my car's photo thread. you will see it all. And the only thing still "stock" about my stereo is the power plug on the back of the head unit. All the wiring for that system is seperatly done.

wow. ok. interesting! now if only i could figure out how to make my back speakers play louder (monsoon) something in the left side of car is gone bad.....

Put the highs at about 75%
Put the mids at about 40% Put the bass at about 60%

Mine settings are all cranked to 9. I use my MP3 players EQ to taylor my sound.
