Cool ok so0o0o...

i know that a few of you on here know me personally and you know that i have already blown out the front driver side speaker... evidently i am working on the front passenger side speaker now as well. anyway, i am looking to install an entirely new system in my car because my monsoon just can't handle the music i listen to. i went to best buy today and talked to this sexy daddy named james and he demonstrated some brands and models for me... from what i heard the rockford fosgate T162C 6.5" 2-Way Full-Range Speaker sounds the best. i wanted to know if anyone has used or know people who have used those speakers and if they are seriously worth the cheese... hahaha, cheese.

thank you!

everything in my car is rockford, from the 6.5 to the subs to the amp and even the wires that connect it all... i have always used rockford in all my cars and i love them... the 6.5 that you are looking at are awesome, i am actually going to find a way to mount 2 more in my car... i would deff dish out the dough and get yourself some... and if you want it to sound even better, get yourself a 4 channel amp to push them and you will be in heaven...

If you get anything, get MB Quart components. You want quality, you gotta pay. Rockford full-ranges are trash. Trust me, I worked at Best Buy, so I know. Best bet for now is to get the speakers fixed under warranty.

Wow best buy!? I have yet to meet someone who "knows" what they are talking about while working at a best buy...which is ironic?

Anyway i think RF is good for what she needs. She doesnt need NASA to come install some new technology so she can listen to "white girl" two clicks louder. I have not heard of any problems with RF that would categorize it as "trash"...."shades"

Besides, get the warranty at BB for the speakers and if they turn out to be trash, get new ones. Or just listen to gospel music from now on k?

Okay here's my point of view:

Stock spekaers suck.

If your dead set about buying at best buy, rockford and pioneer are the best they have. But I agree with the cheat, that since best buy bought out rockford fosgate, thier quality has gone down from thier earlier days.

I'd reccomend goind to a real audio shop, if your gonna shell out best buy's prices for Rockford, you could get Alpines or Infinity (circuit city sells Infinity too).

I agree with Toad. Car Toys even has better deals on speakers but best buy has the nicer and sometimes easier warranty...of course that isnt always true. I had no idea RF was bought out by BB...This world these days no one owns themselves

Anyway E i would go to car toys and see what they can offer you, and then take a look at circuit city, they are right by Car toys in jantzen beach...oh thats right i dont live there anymore -cut-
