VW Genuine iPod Adapter - part # 1K0 051 444
My question is one of compatability...!
 I have a 1999 build New Beetle with a factory fitted EUROVOX 5680VW radio/cd audio system. Will the VW genuine iPod adapter with part number 1K0 051 444 work with this radio...? I have spoken with various VW dealeships and they all have different answers (some yes, some no and some don't know). I have taken the audio unit out and the connectors at the rear are compatabile with the iPod adaptors - (blue/yellow/green connector for a CD changer). The glove box has the cable hole and space ready to accept an iPod. My gut feel is it will work but I need to be sure. Any help on this will be appreciated...
