Question Burning MP3 CDs for VW Gamma

I'm having trouble burning mp3 CDs that my VW Gamma CD/Radio will play. I keep getting "CD error" and then it spits out the CD.

The programs I've tried so far are Nero and CDRWIN. Perhaps I need to apply some kind of special settings? The manual hints nothing about this though. It only says that Gamma will play mp3 CDs.

Does anyone else have the Gamma system, and if so what are you using to create your mp3 CDs?

Thanks in advance for any hints!

not really sure about your specific radio but i have a friend with a gm radio and it only plays mp3s so make sure they are being converted first because mine will play mp3s and wmas. ir took us a while to figure that out but try that. i use acoustica mp3 cd burner.

Converted? I'm not sure what you mean by that. I have mp3 files that are primed and ready. (I'm not ripping tracks from a regular cd, converting them and burning them in one go.) All I'm doing it burning a CD with mp3-files on them.

I'll give Roxio a try. Thank for your replies and the tip!

all i was saying is make sure they are actually .mp3 because some files are .m4a and .wma and those wont play in every mp3 player.
