Default How do I remove center console 6 disc changer in my '04?

I want to install a Phatbox system and need to get to the connector.
I don't see any release tabs or slots for releasing the OEM 6 disc CD changer.
Any knowledgable folk that can point me in the right direction???

Thanks in advance.

A tool?
If you mean the pins to remove radios and disc players from the dash, then yes, I already have those; and no - they do not work for the console mounted changer.

Again, are there any knowledgeable people who can help me?

You need a special tool, that is shaped like a small blade - it will fit into that marked slots.

Hey DO-KM,

Thanks for the attachment.
I was looking right at the damn thing and never suspected the slots would be there.
Now I can begin modifying my center console for my Phatbox installation.

My gratitude to you.

Hi CA Solt,

Good news to read - those slots are really hard to find.
Glad that I could help.
