Default Volume Control on Monsoon

Just curious if this has happened to anybody??? (I searched here but to no avail) Hoping it isn't something that will eventually break??? While driving down the freeway I had to lower the volume on my radio to answer my cell, and the knob just turned and nothing happened? It was kind of a fast turn of the knob, I tried like 3 times nothing!!! Then I s l o w l y turned the knob and it lowered. Hope this isn't the begining of the end of my radio

cant relate to this specific radio but have seen this happen before. the volume control is actually a cover over the actual turning thing. it is simply sliding because it has been stripped. its just normal wear and tear. see if you can pull the knob off and look at the problem. if you can see what is doing it i would CAREFULLY glue them together so you get no further problems. (maybe help?)
