Default Best way to connect Sirius to system?

Is there a better way to connect the output on the Sirius receivers than the FM modulator? I have a 2001 with just the standard radio with cassette.

Also...how do I remove the go to center dash cover...so I can install the antenna under it.

Thanks
Handy

Cool

Don't know if this will help with accessing the area that you'd like to remove:

I hard wired an FM modulator between the head unit and the antennae plug in then mounted my S50 to a sturdy mount that I purchased through Crutchfield online.

depends on what model of Sirius receiver you own...

What might work even better is to get an adaptor that goes on the CD changer input. Crutchfield sells those also. This is how I have my MP3 player hooked up...

This is the best piece I've found to do the job:

It lets you have an iPod wired-in, control the iPod from the HU, AND have RCA inputs for the satellite radio, all hidden, all through the stock HU.
