I just took out an aftermarket radio/cd which had been installed in the 2002 turbo s I just bought, didn't work too great............put in the original standard radio.........reset the code...........radio turns on the station, everything works.................EXCEPT.........no volume?
Anyone have any ideas as the sound was working fine with the old system up until I removed it. Thanks |

What else did the cut/take out when they put in the other radio I wonder? Did they disconnect the speakers from the monsoon perhaps?

Thanks for your response.
The other system worked fine in terms of volume, minutes before I disconnecetd it. I don't think I disconnected anything I shouldn't have.........the stock vw wiring connectors had been connected to the new system with an adaptor, so I was able to simply reconnect the plugs into the back of the stock vw radio, connect what I guess is the arial cable............couldn't see anything else to connect? |
