This is for a hookup in an Audi, it may be similar in some ways, just to give you a general idea

http://forums.audiworld.com/audio/msgs/37938.phtml

This is a review and installation video for a neo ion adapter, maybe it's similar?

Under MP3 Your Car on the right, click "Ion review and installation

http://www.mp3yourcar.com/?source=go...FQLYYgodm2NBvA

And this is the install on a GTI

Thats the best I can do for you. Good luck!!

If I had to guess, I'd say it's as simple as the second link, (the video). Just remove the stereo, plug into the back to use the cd changer port, then route the wire out by the vents or grab bar. But that's just my guess, good luck!

well, I attempted the install if the kit. but I didn't have the special tool to release the pins out of the connectors. so I have it installed, but I had circuit city install it. I know i had to pay $80 bones for the install but to have to go buy the tool tho release the pins for 50.00 , I rather them do it. but I was stunned when I got the kit , I asked the vw dealer, and they said. For them to install it they charge $180.00 , I was like do what ? Talk about ripping someone off. Those stealerships are full of $%&*, If they think I would pay that..lol

That's why they're also known as the Stealership. Well I'm glad to see you got it installed, and I'm glad you didn't have to fork over too much cash. Well keep up the good work, and just enjoy it! Best of luck with it in the future, take care.
