Default Dead factory stereo

Hi Everyone -

Just wondering if anyone else has had their factory stereo just stop on them? We have a 2001 NB - and the other day we got into the car at the end of the day and the stereo won't turn on at all. We thought about a fuse - but can't seem to find what we would say is a radio fuse on the fuse card. If you have any thoughts or advice .. we'd love to hear it!

Thanks!

Cool

Looks like a 25 amp fuse in slot #42 (according to the fuse card)...

There is also a 10 amp fuse in the back of the radio.

Yep the guy that lives across the street from me blows the fuse in the back of the radio on his Jetta like once a month. He was very happy the other day when I told him I got the keys to yank the radio.
