98' stock CD changer having issues!!!

I have a 98 Beetle, my Cd changer works well, but I have a problem with the right channel cutting out (only in Cd mode, the radio mode is fine) when I go around a corner, hit a bump ect. I have checked the connections to the changer, they are fine. Has anyone else had a simular issue. Any ideas on how to maybe rectify the problem!

mine was doing that over hard bump, and give it couple of months and it will stop working completely.

Back from the dead.

Did anyone come up with a solution to this? Mine has been cutting in and out for the past two years, but for the past week it has only been out and I need to fix it.

Since its only the CD and not the radio that is affected, I'm guessing that it is a problem with the cable running back to the changer. Does this make sense? Has anyone replaced the cable?
