Default anyone try the Q forms kick panels or a JL stealth box? I

Im thinking of doing a system for my bug and I was looking around and found the stealth box from JL and the Q forms kick pannels and got to thinking... I have a nice Alpine D310 in dash TV/Radio... I wanted to get some nice front and rear speakers with a sub box... I was thinking about using a JL 500/5 5 channel amp, JL stealth box, Q Forms kickpanel speaker mounts, MB quart Q series front speakers, MB Quart 2 way 6 1/2 rear speakers, and a Audio control 1/3 band EQ... so does anyone have any of these items or a system like this? how does the stealth box sound? How do the kick panel speakers sound....I listen to rock so im not a bass head but just like a clean sound..thanks for any help

I've heard the stealth box in a beetle and it sounded really nice. Not a ton of bass but its very accurate and you'd be surprised at the output you do get out of the one 10" woof. For rock its perfect. If you were listening to rap you'd probably want alittle more. I've had the jl slash series amps in my car and they are GREAT amps(the 500/5 is a slash). Very clean. I have a audiocontrol x-over in the car now and I like it. Very high quality and I've never heard anything bad about they're eq's, only good. I personally don't like mb quart speakers though. Even they're Q series uses a titanium tweeter that is so high pitched it sounds like a laser beam drilling a hole in your ear. For me they are really hard to listen to over a long drive and will often give me a headache. Lots of people love em but they aren't for me. I think with you listening to rock the best speaker for you would be CDT audio's hd-62's front and rear or even the jl audio's ZR seperates. Bottom line try to audition the speaks before you buy and btw you might want to think about a cap with this system. Hope this helps,
